| The 2nd annual “Regional Intermodal Transportation Security Conference” inside DHS S&T Conference -
23-26 February 2009 in Bellevue, WA.
As in January 2008, The Security Network will present its “Regional Intermodal Transportation Security Conference” as a single day conference inside the four day Department of Homeland Security, Science and TechnologyDirectorate West Coast Stakeholders’ Conference scheduled for 23-26 February 2009 in Bellevue, WA. This one day conference will focus on utilizing technology and collaboration to enhance regional transportation security. We anticipate organizing an “exhibitor pavilion” again on the show floor in 2009, which will allow high visibility to supporters of The Security Network. | The 1st annual “C4, Robot Platforms & Sensors Exposition & Conference”
The Security Network will hold the 1st annual “C4, Robot Platforms, and Sensor Conference: Ensuring Secure Information Sharing from Sensor to Responder Conference” on Sept. 24-25.SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) San Diego is the lead C4 ISR center for the Navy, which hasattracted defense contractors interested in the field to San Diego. SSC is also an important
factor in the explosion of robotics work in San Diego, including air, ground and on and belowthe water. The Security Network plans to focus this annual conference in San Diego on thecontinuum “from sensor to responder” including the necessity to emphasis Identity Management and Information Assurance in an increasingly open standards, interoperable world. There will be
speakers and panelists from government agencies such as CA Office of Homeland Security, DHS S&T, NSA, SPAWAR, SPAWAR Systems Center and the US Navy in addition to representatives of leading companies in the private sector. | “Maritime Law Enforcement & Security” - a CfMSS event followed by demos in-the-water in conjunction with the San Diego Harbor Police and the U.S. Navy.
The IACP (Intl. Assoc. of Chiefs of Police) will hold its 115th annual conference in San Diego Nov. 8-12 and 25,000 attendees are expected. On Wednesday, Nov. 12, The Security Network & its affiliated Center for Maritime Systems & Security (CfMSS) will put on a half day event focused on “Maritime Law Enforcement & Security” followed by a half day of demos on and in the water in conjunction with the San Diego Harbor Police and the U.S. Navy. | The Security Network will be presenting its one-day Regional, Intermodal Transportation Security Conference on Thursday, January 17, 2008 as a conference inside the 2008 Homeland Security S&T Stakeholders Conference West. This special event with speakers from Canada, Mexico and the U.S is being presented in partnership with DHS to complement their “International Day”.
The Security Network is also pleased to announce that it has reserved exhibition space for the January 14-17 show. The Security Network exhibition booth spaces are located at the front of the exhibition hall near the DHS S&T booth and offer its supporters excellent exhibiting and networking opportunities.
